hi my name is black amir,welcome to the new school soul/hip-hop nation.
soul/hip-hop nation is a forum open to other soul/hip-hop bloggers to
discuss and disect the state of black music industry here in the UK ,USA and world wide.I would like to open up the debate by asking is hip-hop killing it self by portraying it self as self loathing, gun toting,mysogenistic,homophobic,kill or be
killed at any cost attitude.I often find myself asking "WHATS GOIN ON"as Marvin Gaye
poignantly pointed out.Or is it that the MASS MEDIA,are totally misrepresenting disrepecting a entire genre of cutural music,because the mass media have a secret agenda to paint an entire group of people as nothing more than a bunch of brutish
thugs who are inherently culturally inferior, who lack any form of intlligence or sophistication to express themself in a intelligble coherant manner."WHAT SAY U ?"
